The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool was designed by Henry Bacon, constructed in 1922 and 1923, following the dedication of the Lincoln Memorial. It is approximately 2,029 feet (618 m) long (over a third of a mile) and 167 feet (51 m) wide. It has a depth of approximately 18 inches (46 cm) on the sides and 30 inches (76 cm) in the center. It holds approximately 6,750,000 U.S. gallons (25,500,000 L) of water.

The image as a gallery-quality mounting, the original photo print on aluminum backing. Used only highest quality brand-name photo paper from Fuji, Kodak, or Ilford for the photos. To protect against external elements the print is then laminated with a razor-thin UV film. The laminated print is then mounted on a sturdy aluminum backing. Once set on the reinforced base, the print has the ideal protection against any loss of shape. The low weight also lets you hang your favorite image on the wall with ease, even if it’s a panorama or large format.

Original photo print is mounted on the sturdy yet surprisingly light aluminum backing, which is particularly suitable for skylines and large format photos. Each of brand-name photo papers ensures the finest image detail and tonality. This finish is available in matte or glossy, and strengthen the effect of the photo, either by adding shine or highlighting its rawness.

Aluminum backing for gallery quality mountings

The mount of the original photo print onto a 0.12″ thick, robust aluminum backing using a special adhesive. The base is a thin aluminum sheets primed with a platinum white enamel. This solid material has proven itself in galleries for many years and guarantees a maximum stability. Despite its strength, it is also ultra light, allowing the photo to hang  on the wall easily and securely. The edges are precisely cut using milling machine.
